Lorene, Mom, & Ben for New Years Dinner

Elizabeth and I enjoyed mom, Ben, and Lorene coming out for New Years dinner yesterday. Ben is 87, Mom is 80, and Lorene is 86. What a blessing to have those three out. We feasted on a delicious ham dinner with fried okra and sweet taters. It just don't get much better than that.

Elizabeth received an e-mail from a group of singles (30) wanting to come sometime this spring for a singles retreat. Jerry was out today doing some measuring and figuring on "Grace" cabin for the new master bedroom suite. Today I worked on the cattle guard and finished welding the main body of the guard.

The recent rain has been such a blessing. We has a nice snow at the end of November and then over two inches in the first December rain and a little over one inch in the recent one. We average less than an inch of moisture for December.

Paul Michael was out today and had lunch with Elizabeth and I.

The big news is we have three new calves, a brand new one born New Years Day. Elizabeth decided we would name her NYDAY (pronounced Nida) for New Years Day. All three of the new calves are heifers.

I am officially tired and going to bed.

God Bless and Jesus Loves You
